Mike Klimek is a Co-Founder and Managing Broker of Pillar Realtor.

Prior to joining the real estate industry, he spent over a decade in the commercial insurance industry. In 2006 he received his Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation from the Hartford School of Insurance. In 2009 he decided to pursue his entrepreneurial goals and co-founded the Pillar Corporation, an independent insurance brokerage that focuses on insuring businesses and real estate investments. After developing a network of business owners and investors, he and his partners recognized an opportunity to further cater to the needs of their clients through real estate brokerage.

In 2016 he joined the commercial real estate team at john greene Commercial. His experience in the insurance industry brings an added value to his clients on not only acquiring and profitably growing their assets, but also how to properly protect against risk.

His experience in commercial real estate has included successful transactions in the following asset classes: Industrial, Land, Office, Hospitality, Retail, Mixed-Use, and Multi-Family. His focus ranges from stabilized assets to value add, and new development opportunities. He enjoys going above and beyond for his clients through creative marketing by utilizing innovative technology. He also focuses on buyer and tenant representation. This includes site acquisition and build-to-suit solutions.
