Our focus is in Commercial Real Estate and working with Business Owners and Investors. We market properties for sale and leasing, and represent buyers and tenants in their real estate hunt. Our experiences span most of the commercial asset classes: Industrial, Multi-Family, Retail, Hospitality, Mixed-Use, Office, and Land.

It started with a dream. In 2009, sitting at a desk as a commercial insurance broker, Mike Klimek looked over to his colleague, and co-founder, Josh Rogers, and asked, “What if we had an organization that expanded beyond protecting assets and assisted in the acquisition and management of those assets?” Josh’s response, “They trust us with protecting their assets. If we have the knowledge, why wouldn’t they trust us in assisting on that side too?” The following year, Pillar Corporation opened it’s doors as a commercial insurance brokerage. 

In 2016, Mike received his real estate brokers license and in 2020 added the Managing Broker license. After five years of working with some of the best commercial real estate brokers in the Chicagoland market, it was time to move forward with the next phase of the dream; Pillar Realtor was born.
